Hi - has anyone tried WMP 11, now available as beta 2. It is meant to be a huge improvement on version 10.
I use a creative MP3 player and windows media player, whereas my wife has an ipod and i-tunes is light years ahead of the current windows media player.

I've been using it for months now, and yeah, it's a vast improvement on previous versions

well worth installing.

I've been using it for months too. Not a single problem with it and looks bang up to date.

Hi,...I use a creative MP3 player and windows media player...
I found that, after installing the Windows Media Player 11 Beta, my PC failed to recognise my Creative Zen Touch player. This is a known problem, which Microsoft acknowledges in its release notes for WMP 11 and which countless users have reported in the Creative discussion forums.
If you do install WMP 11, it's probably best to check immediately that your PC can recognise your MP3 player. Then you can easily roll back to WMP 10 if there's a problem.
