Im note sure if this should be on the student board or the mobiles board....
Anyway i am wondering how I find out about the best student tariffs available. I picked up a leaflet in store in the Carphone Warehouse yesterday but I couldnt see the deals online, so it seems its not that simple.
Any ideas?

Around my Uni have been a company called Dot Mobile....They are a student specialist on Mobile phones...
Didnt have a chance to have a look into the cost, as I am a valued Tesco mobile user, but might be worth having a look..

i got voda, £30 per mth, stop the clock weekends and after 7, passport thing for when abroad, 200 free mins and free phone, unlimited texts

ive two orange student packages
1) £25 a month for 120 xnet anytime mins, with 1000 texts, free phone, half price landline calls
2) £25 a month for 1000 xnet offpeak mins with 1000 texts free phone and half price landline calls.
these are both 12month contracts, but i believe orange has changed this to stipulate that students must be on 18month contracts. there is no student leaflet - get the regular orange brochere and read the fine print on the student deal at the back and you'll find more:A Boots Tart :A0 -
https://www.discounts4students.net have a good section with details of the student mobile offers from some of the major networks. Also, has anyone used dotmobile as I'm considering going with them but I've heard some not so good things about them...on the plus side you do get a free nus extra card:D0
