Dear All,

I am on DLA and IB and have been for ten years, i will be retirment age in two months time.
My question is do i loose my benefit when i retire or if i choose to defer my state pension as is offered on my form do i still recieve my benefit, which is the best option.
I am a non tax payer.

You won't lose your DLA, and the IB will be replaced by the state pension. You may also qualify for pension credit. Have you had a pension forecast?
The form you received from the pensions dept will have a number at the top, you can ring them and they will go through your options with you, and will be able to tell you what your income will be, depending on your NI contributions.
