Need a refund but the seller is no longer registered?

I ordered some boots on ebay but they didnt fit so i asked the seller if i could send them back for a full refund, he said yes make a returns request and il accept.
Anyway, I sent them back the other day but the seller is no longer a registered user... so what can i do if i dont get my refund?

Have you retained proof you sent them back? PayPal dispute it if you get no joy from the seller.0

Did you send them tracked?
