scandisc

have 8gb memory stick is it possible to copy contents to another stick for my daughter who is abroad...family films ect.

    yes, copy and paste., or copy to hard disk first

    or you could burn to dvd, or upload somewhere on the web instead.

    You should be able to copy the entire contents to a folder on your desktop (that you can create) then drag the lot back to a new
    stick/card/CD/DVD

    I'd guess the OP is using a Sandisk USB stick....

    If the OP's PC has two USB ports, they don't need to copy to hard disk - merely insert both sticks into separate USB ports, wait for PC to recognise them and copy from one to another.

    GOOGLER...thanks that is what I thought , but on meds so checking ,
    have scandisc sticks ,cheapest way to send loads of family photos abroad and easy to replace if lost......zee

    Even cheaper (i.e. free) is to upload the pics to a site like Flickr and then give the people you want access to that account.
