Advice regards battery
Comments

Replaced the battery last year, but only had problems recently due to the dark nights coming in and having to run head lights more often and heating.
The charging system will cope with Headlights if the engine is running when they are on.
The heater is warmed by the heat in the cooling system. The only electricity used in that, is what is used by the fan.I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0 -

Quite a useful link, it looks like its my car drawing the battery down and not a faulty battery.0 -
I will see how it acts this week then make a final choice if to go for a new battery or if I need to keep the one I have and charge it once a week.
Thank you to all of you who have advised

Wondering if the V6 model uses more current?
Unsure, but yeah I will go for a well known good make if above fails
Probably not, if it does it would be negligiable as its the ancilleries that draw current and most models will have the same ones.It will take more starting though.
As suggested above use a trickle charger, they were on offer again at aldi/netto/lidl(one of them) for about £12.99 again.Supposedly made by c-tek.0
