MSE is getting too many opinionated people

I am getting sick of too many Opinionated people on here!!!!

Why can't people just answer peoples dilemma without criticising them!!

Too many of the same slanted threads!!!

Why can't Opinionated people stick to DT only and something fresh @ last!!!

This website is all about getting value for money for consumers and it is turning in to a nitemare!!!!!!

Well, at least this site allows you to post your opinion!

The irony of your post..... ;)

The website is about value for money but some sections of the board can push that envelope and take it too far with almost fraudulent activity being suggested. People have different views on the where the line is and if it should be crossed. The board has a large number of posters from all backgrounds and reflects society. You get opinionated people in real life and you get them here.
I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.

The problem is that when people see advice that does not support their viewpoint, they often say that the poster is being judgemental/ opinionated, when in reality they are giving the harsh reality of the situation. There is a thread on the Benefits board presently that demonstrates this point perfectly, someone has come along with a pretty clear case of deprivation of capital, and has been advised that this is the case and it is potentially very serious. ceridwen has come along and said to ignore everybody else, they are just giving personal opinions and they are jealous ... and then gone on to give wholly incorrect advice!

Would people rather hear what they want to hear, albeit wrong, or be given the truth?
    Gone ... or have I?

To start a thread to complain about opinionated people takes Irony to such a new level that a new word needs inventing for it. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

We have a quarter of a million users on this site. It would be extraordinary if none of them were opinionated. In fact, we ALL are opinionated on some matter or other - but only see others as being so. ;)

Having an opinion is not an objectionable thing in itself.
