Anyroad: dropped 2 bags of books to Oxfam (with Gift Aid tags so they can reclaim tax) and delivered an Amazon sale to the Post Office. Went to Mr T's and bought 2 shirts, a pair of trousers and some silly socks: went to the cinema to see "The Social Network" but found the film full of irritating characters so left halfway through.
As Him Indoors won't be back for at least 2 hours, it's time to go to work on the floordrobe and put some laundry away. Oh, and try and find an ironing "mojo" as I have a lot of ironing to do in the first week of November for an vintage textiles and homewares fair.
Best wishes to all affected by today's spending review: I'll be working till I'm 66:eek:
Hugs and spoons: get well wishes to all poorlies; there's a basket of sticks by the back door to distract the black dogs we aren't so fond of.:D‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

Listy done for the most part - just waiting for the sheets to finish drying then will take them upstairs and dust while I'm there. Only bin up there is the bathroom bin so if I remember I'll take a bin bag up and empty that too. Got a new charity bag so can fill that with socks and put out on Friday. DS1 is playing with his cars and DS2 is sucking his fist so noisily it sounds rather rude. So all is well in the house of Helly and I'm gonna have a cuppaSo, there are these boys,

Afternoon...
Hope you're having a good day Willlow. Happy birthday to PP too.
Sorry, mind's gone blank, but thankyou for the person who mentioned the lego. I'll start buying it on Saturday. Hard to believe it was this time last year I was collecting them for my poorly DS (with the help of fairy Boddy:rotfl:).
Flying wise - s/s'ed bedroom, put wash on, dried wash, put it all away, loaded dishwasher and about to unload it.
I really am doing the bare minimum and you can tell. I need to get some motivation but have spent most of the day stroking a moaning Stripes. She's not in pain - she just wants attention. Quite funny as I wouldn't let my children behave like she is :rotfl:. She's still dopey but walking better with the painkillers. I'm really starting to wonder if it would be kinder to animals if we didn't have anymore pets...we've had two cats with major leg problems, two with cancer, one with diabetes and both dogs have major problems. Infact, none of our animals have been healthy over the last 16 years. Mmmmmm.....someone trying to tell me something?
Right, I'll do ten minutes before school pick up.

Mudbath, I have only joined this thread this week but I have read, with concern, various posts about Stripes.
What's the problem? I have had 2 dogs in the past and I understand how you feel when something is wrong.
