oh and the joy i get from finding £2 coins to go in my jar is quite worrying

I have that same 'problem', to the extent that if those coins are all I have left in my purse and I need to buy something, I'll either use my switchcard or withdraw from the ATM rather than use them!

I agree with the others. Posting is more fun than lurking

Just another voice to say come on in and share your experiences - as you say 'Every Little Helps'
I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

I work with somebody who is in a lot of debt. She's 63 now and her mortgage doesn't finish until she's 70 and she's got credit card debt too. I hope that never happens to me. I often moan about work, but if I thought I HAD to work until I was 70 it would feel like a real burden. It's fine if you want to carry on working, but to have no choice.
