Cleaning up after credit report.

HI

I have had a Experian Credit report.
as I want to up my credit on one credit card to do a transfer.

It suggested canceling cards or credit allowances I am not using.

It showed I had
Quite a few old cards (11) still showing credit allowance.
They are all old and cancelled long ago.

Have managed to cleane up on half

Problem with Time retail finance Comet Card
it is saying i have two
with £3900 on both available even though cards out of date.

I cant get hld of them

Does anyone have their number?
comet gave me two one no longer in use
the other constantly engaged
even on weekend

found 3 possible addresses for them

another company has 4 accounts from old cards also showing
I have available credit but they say they cant get onto the system to remove it.

Another company showed i had a available credit even after i closed it
said it was in case i may come back as a customer
and they kindly removed it.

Does this really make that much difference?

The time ones would be great to get the allowance removed as nearly £8,000 available.

is it best to write a note and say this is not available credit on my report?

You sure those old cards aren't showing as "settled" ?
