What will Ebay have after the P45 tsunami for the middle-class?

So, as 600,000 get 'released' from the public sector and another 400,000 follow from the private sector, what can we expect to see flood onto Ebay from distressed middle-class peeps suddenly unwaged?

1) Anything do do with ponies, as Poppy's is off to the knacker's yard
2) Yeager, Jimmy Choo and Boss clobber as wardrobes are cleared
3) Audi TTs by the dozen
4) All manner of household goods from John Lewis
5) Books, books, books. Anything by Nigella is 1p
6) Bling, sold at scrap gold value

Oh dear, oh dear.

    Paninni presses.

I had to google what that was.

Guess I'm not as middle-class as I thought.

Another vote for the pannini press! They're fab!!!

Another way of looking at it, perhaps ebay buyer numbers will increase, due to people now relying on snapping up second hand JL items to keep up with their collection?

(ps - a lot of the public sector jobs being axed are the poorly paid people who actually did the hard work. The over-paid fat cats at the top still seem to be there!)

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)
  • "Audi TTs by the dozen".
That'll be limited to sales by women and "gay" men then?

    Gloating much, OP?

I don't think what you're saying is really true of the people who are losing their jobs, as Pinkshoes points out.

I only have these when I'm stopping in hotels and have had a couple, surely it's just like getting the kebab elephants foot thingy in the front room?
