0% credit card 12 months min

Hello

I am getting married next June and have found a good deal for a honeymoon for a total of £2438 in Kenya but then about £710 for the safari part on top of this.

For our wedding present we are asking for contributions and in addition to this I will be putting £200-£250 of my wages aside per month in saving for this (as we have now just finished doing so to save for the wedding itself) which over 7 months (just over 8 months until the big day) gets me about £1400 to £1750. Leaving £1400 to £1750 left for the gifts which will hopefully not be a problem as we have plenty of guests.

However as we do not have the funds for this now we have figured that the best approach would be to put the balance on a 0% credit card as all payments have to be 6 weeks ahead of travel.

We currently have a joint cashback Barclaycard which we use for a lot of our shopping and pay off in full every month and I have a Nat West graduate credit card which only has a small limit (£350) that I use for other little bits and pay off in full every month. I have heard that if we have a Barclaycard we cannot apply for their 0% option.

Any card recommendations????

I would try the 15 month 0% creation credit card
  • Thanks
Just googled that one it seems to be for balance transfers rather than the purchases, they all have a much shorter period for the purchases it seems...
  • Tesco 13 months on purchases.
Will cost £60-90 every month if holiday paid in full.(2-3%)
£7.50 in Tesco vouchers as a wee bonus as well.
Check if paying with credit card incurs a cost though.

A cruise is better for a honeymoon, after about 7 years wed,go a safari and feed the wife/husband to the lions.;):D
I have a deep burning indifference

It is nice calm one though two weeks all inclusive at Diani Beach with a 3 day safari trip somewhere in the middle of that....
