I am writing this mail to you from my residence because of how confidential it is,this letter contains some confidential materials and should be delected from your mail box if you are unable to help me out concerning the proposal.I am an Accountant in a Bank here in Abidjan.

I and my colleagues have an amount of US$28,000,000.00 Dollars belonging to Gen Robert Guei who was shot dead together with all his family last September by the Government soldiers here on an accusation of plotting a failed coup de etat.this money was US$58,000,000.00 Million dollars but some have been used in the importation of arms by the General until he met the unexpected death.

I know that there are lots of business opportunities there in your country hence I decided to contact you based on the fact that part of this money will invested in your country with you being in charge of any business that is going to be starting as joint ventures

I have all the necessary documents involved in the deposition and the withdrawal of the part of the money and the next of kin was his personal security guard who also met death. Now I want you to stand as the next of kin and help us transfer this amount of money out from here.This business is 100% risk free and I will prepare all the documentation and prove the source of the fund before the transfer.

Delete it and move on, unless you want to loose your car, house, business and end up in jail. Its a well known scam!!

Don't delete it! I wish I had one, it's a perfect opportunity to wind up a scammer!

Play along with them for as long as you can. Make them believe you're right up for it. Don't give away any personal details and stall them by asking daft questions for as long as you can.









Or delete it.

Please don't reply to the email or attempt to play them along as suggested above. The people that send these emails are criminals and very dangerous people. Just because they are thousands of miles away doesn't mean they can't find you, they often have contacts in countries around the world.

I don't want to frighten you but please don't respond to the email as it is very easy to be located. As mentioned simply delete the email.

It was simply a suggestion to the OP if they wished to know how the scam works, also if you visit the site you will notice that they too recommend that you don't 'play' with these people.:)

I think it's a good site but it does make scam-baiting look fun.

Your right fay it does look fun but anyone contemplating doing this should be fully aware of the do's and don'ts which are on the above mentioned site. The site itself says that if you are at all unsure about what you are doing then not to do anything.

Please feel free to visit the site and read the articles as some of them are very funny but also note the site does feature some strong language!

I am not condoning the behaviour in the site mentioned I am merely pointing out the dangers of replying to such emails which are mentioned on the site itself.
