Showfilmfirst operate a paid service for VIP members. Out of those members, some are sent invitations to events. Not all VIP members are sent the invitations.0 -

Did you? Which invitations were they? Where do you live? I know people who live outside London don't fare well even when paying for VIP.
I had the gig tickets, GnR, Bon Jovi etc and loads of cinema invites too. Am in London. Not had any invites at all since the VIP scheme started except for ones to buy tickets! Bit of a shame really, I used to like the freebie events.0 -

Being in London explains a lot. Regional stuff is much rarer.
Cinema invitations were usually scraps after codes had been issued a long time beforehand. You'd never see a free film if you waited on SFF sending you a code.0 -
I got an invitation to The King's Speech. When I clicked, I got the 'invited list only' message.

I have been lucky enough to get free tickets to see Monkee Business on Friday at Manchester Opera House.
I need to exchange the printout for actual tickets on the day at the box office, am i right in thinking that the Opera House doesnt have its own Box Office so it would be the one at The Palace Theatre i need to go to?'there goes an old transexual, last seen heading south,
her friends call her Bernie but her real name is Ralph'

When I have collected tickets at the Opera House, I have used a desk on the right of the entrance foyer.0 -
