Vokera boiler problems ?

About a year ago I asked on here for advice about a problem with my Vokera Linea 28 boiler. That problem went away however a more serious problem developed yesterday. It died electrically and after doing some checks I replaced the fuse on the PCB (Printed Circuit Board) it powered up but now just shows an error code 3 (Flue or fan problem) and will not ignite or even start the fan. I've replaced the PCB today but still won't work. Any ideas ?
Or if anyone could recommend a way for me to find a trustworthy Boiler Engineer who won't rip me off (In West London) I'd be very grateful. So many horror stories these days !!!

I think the flue fan must be running before the boiler will fire. Can you tell if it is.
Not a lot of help I know but it might narrow down the search area.I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0 -
The easiest way to check if your fan is working is take the front cover off the boiler and turn the programmer on so that the boiler should fire up. Then with a metal screwdriver touch the black motor on top of the fan, if it acting like a magnet ie the screwdriver sticks to it, it is getting a signal to start and so is more than likely broke. You can try turning the fins of the fan with the screwdriver, (keep your fingers away), usually anticlockwise, and see if this gets it going, also a spray with wd40 sometimes works. Hope this helps.0
