Tescos giving extra points at present.

Hi

Not sure wether I am posting this in the right place but Tescos seem to be giving extra clubcard points away at the moment. I had double points on my shop but I also picked up a few disgarded receipts all of which were showing extra clubcard points. An example being a £4.87 purchase but statement at the bottom stating you could have received 10 clubcard points for this purchase, which is a bit puzzling because it is slightly more than double points. Not sure wether this is a nationwide promotion or a glitch. The receipts were from two different tescos stores so may be it is nationwide but I just havent seen the promotion yet. Anyway interested to know if anybody is aware of this.

Happened to me today. I spent about £19 and got 19 points and the statement showed I received another 18 bonus points!!. Not complaining, but don't know what its all about.

hi , i went to tescos yesterday and did 2 seperate transactions as one was xmas presents ect anyway i recieved normal points and underneath i had bonus points ????? on both transactions yipeeee , wonder if it is a glitch ???

Likewise I spent £40 and got 40 points and 40 bonus points.. seems like it's nationwide so yay!

When will this promotion end (hopefully not very soon )? And are there any restrictions (no double points on baby milk, lottery tickets etc.)?

You will not get points/double points on the standard items that Tesco exclude from CC points (Lottery, Baby Milk, Selected Pharmacy lines etc,)

Im not sure about an end date but will double check;)
