Hi all,
Just coming to the end of ING's instant access 12 month saver account. What's my next best option for easy access and non - internet only (ie branch or post or telephone are o.k)
Had a look @ the best buy on here but all seem to be 'web saver' or 'e saver'. Will probably need to withdraw whole balance in approx 2 months.
Thanks

2% Halifax Guaranteed Saver Reward.
2.1% Bank of Scotland IASA Reward (limit on withdrawals, minimum £1,000 deposit).
2.6% Birmingham Midshires telephone account.Apply by phone on 0845 602 2828 if you're 16 and over
Lines are open Monday to Saturday 8am-8pm
Check conditions if you close early - it may be better to run the balance down to the minimum and leave the account open for a full year to ensure the full interest rate is paid.
Personally I'd do it all online. Any particular reason why you won't?0 -
Not particularly familiar and look up far too much junk on my laptop to be sure its safe! My thinking is While i'd like to transfer the money to maintain the 50 odd quid interest p/month if its going to be too many hoops to jump through I probably wont bother. This ING account was dead easy to open and easy to manage. Some internet account allow you to manage by phone I think, one of these will be fine.0
