Unlock codes on eBay

It seems very risky selling mobile phone unlock codes on eBay. Was reading a sellers Returns conditions and it states if the code doesn't work you have to provide video evidence.

Surely you could just raise a SNAD? Would Paypal want to honour their conditions? How could they refute a SNAD for a code, if the buyer is saying it doesnt work?

I would imagine the codes are sent by email, thus there is no buyer protection.

They have to physically send them also to comply with ebay rules.
I'm assuming the Op means it's risky buying codes, not selling them. For some models on some networks, you are correct. There are many offering codes which are just not possible on some newer phones, and some older ones. You have to use google to research if codes are possible for your phone.

personally use only the high feedback users , never had a problem with codes

some people make several bodged attempts to do phones for free themselves and use up all their code tries , then buy a code and of course it does no work . Messages when to code tries are used up are quite distinct from the error codes. Some codes are purchased by the ebay seller and sold on to you and so I can quite understand why they ask for evidence that the code does not work

I've bought 2 unlock codes , both times they have worked , admittedly i bought them both from sellers with high feedback .

Hi OP for unlock codes for your moblie phone sometimes it is a good idea to ask the network it is locked to as sometimes they will either give you the code free or sell it to you quite cheaply.
The benifit is that the code given to you by the network always works and it is then registered on the network lists as being unlocked so there is no posibility of a network locking out your phone because they think it is stolen.
