But its the actual sorting out of a server and so on that seems to worry older people. My own big worry with very elderly using the net is that they may be more vulnerable to phishing scams than the younger more world weary ones.
But certainly on my other forums we have some people in their late 80s who are well savvy and give us "youngsters" puter advice0 -

Mobile internet is a way of life for loads of people, we can't be Luddite about it, cos it's here and being used by millions!
I see the young staff in my work use it in their breaks to check the footie scores, dip into facebook, check out what's on at the cinema , use the GPS application, check the balance in their bank account and so on. It's a part of the way they live their lives most definitely!0 -
Libraries, libraries, libraries all the bigger ones run courses
Mine, Essex Libraries, does 4 or more sessions free and of course, in virtually all libraries computer use is freefor up to one hour per day. And enjoy the use of free subscription databases eg Ancestry to uncover your past!0 -
