Marble table damaged - is it reasonable to complain?

Hi,

I have a marble table that has been damaged (my fault).

I was hoovering the floor and my 61 key music keyboard was in the way, so I put the keyboard on top of the marble table. The keyboard has 4 rubber pads on each corner, and when I lifted the keyboard off the table, one of the rubber pads 'stuck' to the table and peeled off some of the marble lacquer. The damage is the size of a 1 pence coin.

It was bought from Cousins. Do you think I have a reasonable cause for asking Cousins to replace the table or repair the damage?

Here's some pictures:

Thanks

No I wouldn't think so, it's just wear and tear, the lacquer was not designed to have suckers put on it.

You damaged it, and you expect the company to replace it. Are you for real!!!!!

Suck it up and put a vase on it or something.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

After all of the above knee jerk reactions (mine included) why dont you give the company a ring. Explain what has happened.
Be nice about it, the may offer to remove the laquer and relaquer it.

Going by the pictures, it is a bit of a stretch to call it a "marble" table. It looks about as hard wearing as Fablon. As for trying to get it repaired/replaced I think that you have a darn cheek even to think of asking. As ormus says, really.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.
