Came into work today (office full of men who aren't very seasonal IYKWIM) and I've had 2 presents from them so I burst out crying lol they nearly ran a mile :o

I'm having that dilemma too! ...but the pavements are so icy and it's either wear walking boots and look frumpy or wear normal shoes and risk falling on my !!!!!

I've been wearing my walking boots for what seems like forever and feel like a frump, esp when I'm also wearing a regatta fleece and an outdoorsy coat with a massive furry hat. fashion and style, what's that again?

f'ing freezing up here, hope it warms up soon, even if it was 1 or 2 degrees I'd be happier :(
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*
No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!

    morning all.
@piratefairy, was a band called Fighting With Wire. They ended up postponing the gig due to the bad weather as they couldn't get to Belfast from Derry so was able to stay warm in the house.

@mommyme, that's really not on, it's the thought that counts when you know someone has cared enough to put some effort in not them handing your £20 instead!

well, last day of work til next week so they're having a bit of a party for us, a few drinks and a quiz type thing, plus food I think :)

outfit is definitely for warmth not style as it's still -10 here.

    jeans
    black vest
    dark purple v neck jumper
    purple zip front hoodie
    ugg style ankle boots

coat, scarf, hat, gloves, etc etc :)

  • Morning! Well today I feel sick as a dog, I’ve dragged myself into work, i finish at 1 so not too bad (that’s my normal hours) but hopefully boss will send me home as I do look and sound rather ill. I was going to put a sick day in but as it’s the last day at work until 4th I thought it would seem like I was pulling a fast one. Red sore nose does NOT look good with my outfit lol
Considering I was too doped up on medicine this morning to even know my name i’m actually proud of what I have on lol
    Today’s outfit is:
    Black vest top (River Island)
Oatmeal Hooded jumper (Dorothy Perkins, dunno why it’s “oatmeal” looks brown to me but hey ho)
    Long necklace from Claires Accessories
Skinny blue jeans (my one and only pair that I brought the other day – oh the shame!)
And my knee high flat black boots
    Oh, and a runny nose, puffy eyes, sore throat . . . . .
My sisters brought me 2 presents. . unfortunately my niece said “you do like coffee . . Don’t you?” and then when on to tell me that one of my presents had a “little cheese grater” so I’m guessing its one of those hot choc cups lol Not sure what the other one is, My nephew grabbed niece and dragged her out the room before she told me (niece is 9 btw! Lol)
Better attempt to do some work – If I don’t appear before Christmas, Have a good one x
