    Hi,

The big thaw has started here today too. Thank goodness - as I didn't have any water coming in to my loo or washing machine on Thurs (that would have been a good excuse to buy new clothes huh?!). All fine now and no sign of burst pipes - touch wood.

Spent most of today in bed in my PJs after some vinos last night. Feeling exhausted by the party season already!

Have now showered and put on a tartan blouse and jeans. Can't wait for more Corrie...

    xx

Douglas, you deserve several days off!

Today - dress down day :o

Light denim flared jeans: Next clearance (£5!)
    Pale pink tee: Primark
Pink and white striped vintage jumper: Vintage shop that was closing down (£3)
Bright pink canvas lace ups: Primark

Something posessed me to buy a velvet bodycon dress yesterday! MAD. It's far too short as a dress but I'm seeing potential as a top!

Been wearing pyjamas all day, was out at works Christmas do last night so have been nursing a hangover and a sore throat from singing so much and trying to talk to people over the music.

Last night wore a chinese style dress with green sparkles on, and whilst I had a lot of "nice dress" comments from people, not many said I look stunning, beautiful, lovely etc. (apart from hubby)

Guess I'm just looking for acceptance from my peers (although it's probably more of a self confidence thing)
  • Ahem. **Stands up** Hi, I'm Tracy and I'm a Shopaholic. I need help...:rotfl:

Apparently aknowledging you have a problem, is the first step, or so they say :p but what happens from here on in, well... we'll just have to wait and see ;).

    Wearing today:

Red knitted jumper dress from George at Asda.
Dark blue 'jeggings'... I don't normally like them but they contrast really well with the red wooly dress :T. Black fur lined lace up boots from River Island.

When I went out earlier I teamed it up with:

A cream scarf (My mothers, shhhh... don't tell her:p)
A grey 'beret-like' hat with pretty detail - New look
My black leather gloves - A gift from auntie
And my long grey double breasted winter coat - Debenhams

P.S. Already told ya I had issues! Maybe you guys can advise me on how to stop buying clothes?
    Toto, I
    Don't think we're in
    Kansas anymore...

Bratz, hope the Xmas do went well :)

Bunnie, personally I think the self-confidence thing is helped by knowing what suits you, and dressing based on that and not based on following the fashion trends.

HSD, welcome to the thread, I'm definitely not the one to advise on refraining from shopping! But some of the other girls will have muchbetter advice than me!
