Antone else think Douglas should start blogging? He's got cool ecclectic taste and clearly takes great pride in dressing. Go for it, Doug!

No snow here but very cold. Don't know whether I can stand queuing outside for a jumble sale later, rum and coke by an open fire sounds much more enticing.

    Today's outfit:
    1960's crimplene mini dress
    Teal opaques
Edwardian leather lace-up knee high boots
Lots of silver bangles and rings
    Green vintage hat
    Ganesh pendant
    1930's beaver lamb coat
    (All second-hand or presents)

    Photogenic
Years ago I was in a really deprived area of Glasgow to send some parcels from the local sub post office which I pass on my way home and I noticed the postmaster had a little Ganesh over his counter (in a sort of oblong paperweight). I said nice Ganesh, his smile lit up, I think no one had ever done more than the barest minimum of civility to him in there as we chatted the postman came to take away the mail and it turned out he was into yoga and meditation. We all ended up drinking chai in the back shop together.

This memory was triggered by Goanmad's pendandt.

We've got a huge Indian population in my home town and it's a great ice breaker if I'm wearing Indian jewellery or Jon's got one of his Hindi tee shirts on.
Ganesh is my favourite as he's a little mischief maker.
  • Ooh that's pretty! They did have some nice angora snowflake dresses but came up quite large when tried on, got to return the oh's shirt so gonna try again...

Today black leggings, and again my black Russian doll dress, navy red herring mac and purple gloves and scarf. Was very naughty and bought denim bootcut jeans for £10 and a cerise tee with bow detail for £6 from new look, and accidentally a Navy blue sparkle thread snood for £4 from primark, which I thought was a scarf...
Ooh, i think i found it on their website. Looks like it could be good for casual wear or made a bit fancier with jewellery & a nice jacket :)

I really like this snowflake dress.

    Today wearing
Purple Cat & mushroom wool dress - new look a couple of yrs ago
black leggings - primark but i need new ones because they have holes :(.
    Thick socks - no idea
Brown boots - vertbaudet... yeah, theyre for chldren...
Grey Cardi - h&m and v well worn
    Grey wool coat - primark
Black scarf - need to get round to sorting out my prettier knitted scarves.

No snow yet except for about 30 seconds of flakes this afternoon.
I love food, hate waste and have a penchant for sparkly things ::D

Trying to find a work life balance...:rotfl:
  • Evening! Been really poorly lately, today I wore a
Peach skater skirt (£5 from ASOS sale!)
    White long sleeve top (DP)
Black lace panel cardigan (Love Label)
    Leggings (Asda)

Has anyone seen any nice black jersey waistcoats under £15?
