  • Now that you mention it i've barely heard anything about CIN this year too.

I noticed an ebay email about putting things up with any % going to charity having free listing atm but i was wondering... If you put something for charity how does the payment work.... Could you end up losing money with having paypal fees put on top of the postage? And do paypal take a cut of the item money?
Sorry if noone knows, was just a bit confused - I get ebay's thing but i'm not sure on paypal.
(and I'm not really fussed enough right now to go check on the ebay board)

I'm in at the moment trying to do some job applications. But it's so boring :(
I was tempted to spend the day in PJs but it makes me too lazy (even though Im wearing tracksuit bottoms which could easily be used as PJs...). Must be a psychological thing :p

A zebra dress sounds cool! My last primark trip was dull - just PJs and a bra. The sheffield primark seems to be getting worse :(
  • oh i was thinking that too, MF but when I went to the Liverpool one recently it was great, so I think it depends where you go!

I think the charity ebay auctions work on a % going to the charity, i believe you set the % when you list the items.

Is the liverpool one a big one? I've not been disappointed by the big manchester one yet but sheffield's one is fairly small in comparison and I dunno... they just seem to have tat atm... just racks of the same stuff with thin material and nothing exciting
I do like my button print PJs though!
Maybe i'll go for a rummage next week sometime. I was so impressed by it when i first came to shef as it's SO much nicer than b'hams one which involves picking things up of the floor and being trod on repeatedly even if you go first thing :(

Argh... job application... when have I ever used problem solving and tenacity to find an innovative solution???... I HATE QUESTIONS LIKE THAT :(
Maybe i should go be a hermit

    Morning!!

I've been pretty uninspired lately, i need some cute knitted things for this horrid, cold weather i think :(.

Since I don't need to go to work until 5pm I'm currently rocking:

Fleecy PJ bottoms with pawprints - Primark
    Black t-shirt - Primark
Homer Simpson slippers - stolen from OH
Big cosy fleece jacket with furry lining - again stolen from the OH

I was in Primark yesterday and I've got to say that I was disappointed :(. I did however manage to get a gorgeous pair of shoes that were reduced to £3 (if I had of thought about it I would have picked up a couple of pairs!):( Also picked up a scarf and glove set.
    Make £10 a day challenge (August) - £175/£310
  • MF I hate questions like that as well :( Is there anything you can talk about from a prev job - problems they were experiencing / how that was resolved?

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
    Good morning.
Feeling a little calmer today, yoga is helping despite the cat wanting to lend a hand.
    Outfit:

Mint green chiffon ruffle dress: £5 Primark
Plain black t-shirt: Asda via a friend I think
    Black tights: Boots
Kitten heel shoes: New Look, years ago.

Trying to get on top of things and get back on track again.

I worked for the uni on phonelines for people wanting to know if they got into uni/ go through clearing/ complain that they still should get in so i decided on something to do with that.

Alternatively i've just drawn cupcakes with faces on the paper next to me... getting the angry one right DID involve some persistance & problem solving :p
    I'm a born procrastinator :o

(best try to hide that on application forms though :D)

DB: haha at the cat. It's so funny how cats always get in the way - the neighbours cat used to climb on my desk when i was using it and roll on her back. Your cat looks so cute in the pictures i've seen. Can't wait to be able to have my own :)
  • haha, yes maybe best not to mention procrastination..

    Hi,

Lovely sunny day here. Off to see Goldfrapp tonight - should be a good show.

Snakeskin (or something like it) printed top
    Black jeans
    Gold shoes (disco-tastic!)

Have a great Friday night. xx

    Fabulous day here, too!

    I'm wearing:
A turquoise satin mini dress I handmade from a 10p jumble curtain
    Turquoise opaques (Pressie)
    Edwardian leather knee-high boots
Turquoise and jade chandelier earrings (India)
Heaps of silver bangles and rings (India)

Topped off with my 19360's beaver lamb coat from the Sally Army.

No polka dots for me. Lots of CiN collectors in town.
Every charity gets my money. I'll never be rich but who cares?
