Quite like this Peacocks dress but not sure if it's got maybe too many bows? Think it would be a flattering shape on, but £40...hmmm...

That's channelling the 1940's tea dress Pearl bought from me, she's a cheeky minx!

Hope you're all well. I've been busy sorting holiday stuff and eBay out. It's blinking cold. I'm layered in that many clothes it would take all day to list.

Alex, in our town on a wednesday we have a secondhand and collectables market, someone was selling your Kookai coat and it is fabulous.

Thanks :) It gets so many compliments! Probably my best purchase this year, even though I did think it was a bit mad at first.

Sarah, I missed your post. Just my opinion, but I think that dress is a bit bow-heavy. Also my constant problem with the Pearl Lowe stuff is fabric quality so I'd feel it before buying if I were you!

  • The clouds have come down to say hello again today and not yet left - it looks very magical outside. Although, anyone driving in it won't be thinking the same!

In comfies as usual on a day off so nothing to note.

However, I did manage to win a full sequined vintage dress on eBay the other day. Looks very much like that infamous sequin dresses you used to find in FCUK - although mine has a scooped neck. Not bad at just over a tenner! Perfect for parties.

    Have a great day all.
  • I love the Pearl Lowe range too, but also think the fabrics are a bit cheap, and £40:eek: for a dress from peacocks:eek: It is pretty though and i actually like the bows..

Had a super/tedious weekend shifting my two living rooms about to accomidate christmas trees:p i get so giddy about christmas it's untrue... can't wait to put the trees up:)

Wearing flared cords from next via charity shop, puffy sleeve jumper from tesco and wedges from clarks. A bit warmer today:T

Just off to pick hubby up from work then to action some ebay selling zzzzzzz I find listing so boring....

    Pretty much fuming, no call
    from the meter engineer who
is calling 30mins before he arrives, apparently between 8 and 1..
They didnt show up last time either but I'm slightly at a loss re what to do about
my meter problem if they fail to show up again.
