Thank you, douglas and daisy :)

Woop. Have just got IT to put word on the netbook, so writing some more of this hopeless novel is going to be a little easier, than on the phone lol :D

I think the giant spot on my cheek is affecting things, haha. I don't usually get them so it's making me feel horrible!

Argh! There's nothing like a pesky spot for knocking your confidence. I'm sure you think it's much worse than it actually is.

On the way back from the swimming baths I managed to get roped into doing some market research and rewarded with a £10 high street voucher which I promptly took up to my favourite charity shop to donate. This must have been good karma as they'd saved me a bag of vintage treats :j

    Today's outfit:
Hot pink 1960's style mini dress (Peacocks, last year £5)
Grey knit tights (vintage school wear, car boot 20p)
    1960's go-go boots (Inherited)

An afternoon of sewing and ebay wrapping before this evening's jumble sale.

I've been wearing the same pair of super high heels for almost the entire week - i don't usually, just think i've been fairly uninspired..

They're wearing away at the heel tips though due to two trips into town over the cobbles :S

M and S dark blue bootcut jeans. Hennes black long sleeve t shirt with metal discs around the neck line. Black primark chunkyish cardigan. Hush puppy boots. Still a bit same old same old I'm afraid!

  • Home and dry, have been at work so usual white tent tunic and too-tight navy elasticated trousers, lovely. Also walking to car and back my extra-non glamour old navy regatta work coat, which is hooded, rain and wind proof. Ugly as sin but fab at keeping the chills out!!

Now in cow print fleece pyjamas until later, we are going to Debenhams sale preview event, as SIL works for them, lots of bargains to be had as get around 50% off! Be still my beating debit card!! :D Not got anything in mind but hoping for some xmas pressies and maybe some nice bits from Red Herring....or Oasis...
I love food, hate waste and have a penchant for sparkly things ::D

Trying to find a work life balance...:rotfl:

There was a rather lovely pastel striped prom-style dress in the red herring sale section last weekend, which reminded me of ice cream..
I really fancied it, but thought maybe i'd wait til later into the sale, and hope for an even better bargain..
