...has anyone got any ideas how to get it out? It's pretty firmly wedged in (recessed about 3mm so I can't get it with pliers). I've tried to screw a small threaded screw in to pull it out, and I've tried using superglue on said screw. Now I'm out of ideas.
Thanks for any help.

Drastic last decision would be to open the ipod up and push it out from the inside.0

Yes, Ive thought about that. I'm replacing the screen anyway, but to get to the headphone jack is considerably more difficult...0
