Help need - European Breakdown cover

I need to get our 12 year old car covered for a weeks visit to France. I have been quoted about £90 by the RAC and the AA. Are there any other organisations I could try ??

Thanks

Full Cover for 12 months is only £44.99 - bargain in my humble opinion.

    Hi

I thought most places would only cover a car up to 10 years old? Or is it just more expensive if the car is older?

Pity you couldn't use the AA as we broke down in France last week, I'd taken the breakdown cover the day before for £23 for 3 days. They covered us for the tow truck to the Ford garage who told us the engine was dead so we've left the car for scrapping.

Then they paid for taxis all weekend to Disney and back (we were staying at the Davy Crockett Ranch which you have to have a car for!), then they put us up in a Paris hotel for one night then got us flights home! It has to be the best £23 I've ever spent!

Unfortunately there was nothing we could do about the car so have had to save for a new one.
If you're going to stalk me, while you're at it can you cut the grass, feed the dog & make sure I've got bread & milk in :D
