Print at home tickets & sneaky advertising

Whenever I travel I try to opt for "print at home" tickets where possible. It's easier and quicker.
The problem with print at home tickets is that they often come with half a page of advertising. I find this a bit cheeky: Not only do they sneak in unwanted advertising but they make us use our own ink and paper for it! I dread to think what the combined cost and carbon footprint is of all of us printing this superfluous info on our - often not terribly green & economical - home printers. It's not at all practical/possible to print the ticket without it.
Is anybody looking at rationalising this across the travel industry?
Now that every company is trying to be greener than the next surely this is an easy win? If not, perhaps the impact of this should be included into their carbon footprint calculation rather than sweep it under the carpet by pushing it onto us.

I would prefer them to make a bit of extra money doing this rather than increasing their booking fees.0

Save the tickets as a PDF then just print the bit you need. Simple0

the advertising is normally on the same sheet as the ticket so will be printed anyway, plus the barcode required for entry is on the opposite half of the page so you cant just cut it out in photoshop, not that it bothers me as i'll just bin it after the gig, as for the booking fee and postage, you're still charged this!0
