Motability renewal

I have had my motability lease hire car for 3 years on 6/5/2011. My DLA is due to be reviewed on 3/5/2012. Would I be able to apply for a new motability car? From what I can see it looks like there has to be 12 months left on the award and I am 3 days short! Just wondering if anyone else has faced this problem as I would be really stuck without a car.

Yes that is fine, we once had a renewal car with only 5 months left. If your motobility allowance is stopped they just tke the car back, you dont lose any money.0
