We couldn't have a reclining chair Suzy, as there is no room. Remember I live in the smallest house ever!! At the moment we have a two seater settee (mine) and a three seater (hers) as she needs to stretch out, and she is nearly six foot tall.

Oh ok Tenmah...sorry it was just a thought. Don't forget freecycle though although I know you need to be a bit more specific about what you're after.

Buffy...I know exactly what you mean about lack of mojo. Although the more I do, the more I feel like doing so will be doing some more tidying myself today.

Claire...sorry to hear you're feeling rough. Take care and wrap up warm today.

Oh dear Bookie, 8pm makes it a long old day doesn't it? Hopefully it will get busier the nearer to Christmas it gets. Are you able to park near the shop so you can get straight home afterwards?

No, don't be sorry Suzy, it was a great thought and appreciated. It is just there really is no room to do anything in this house (we are desperately looking to move, but of course that costs money!) and because Jade doesn't do anything socially, she has taken up a hobby or two and her stuff is everywhere as well, which causes many discussions! Personally I think she likes the 'buying' aspect of her hobbies more than actually making anything!

    Don't we all :rotfl:

I've just bought 4 books on jewellery-making (ok, so I bought the same one twice without realising....I must really like it lol) but can't afford to buy any tools or beads/wires yet so am still to get off the starting blocks.

That is her newest hobby - jewellery making. She too has the books, the beads, crystals and all sorts - even the stands you can buy to display the finished article to photograph, but she is waiting for the toolkit to arrive so she can actually start making something.

The thing is, when she started making cards, she bought everything you can think of - stamps, promarkers, embossing tools etc etc instead of just sticking to one genre, so the stamps and rollers don't really get used because she didn't find them so easy - this is why I get so annoyed because there is stuff everywhyere, and it isn't used.

So get some of it on eBay and get some money back on them..... ;)

  • Tenmah,

Its hard isn't it, Mum and me have the same sorts of problems, I must say although I miss her whilst she is on holiday, it is lovely to be able to put stuff down and not worry about it being in the way. I think our house is quite small but it is just full of crap.

I had a really quick shower and am dressed now. Feel ing quite excited about the day now. its SO lovely out there!

off to Fish shop and then morrisions and then back here for ironing and marking

    xxxx
    Nevertheless she persisted.
