Amazon Pricing Question

I am quite new to Amazon but managed to get some Audio Books (Tapes and CDs) very cheaply a t a car boot.
I have looked on Amazon and one of them only has one listed at a price of £35.99 - I don't think that anyone will pay this for a tape but just wondered whether I should match this price or just put a price that I would be happy to get.
What do the experienced Amazon sellers think ?

I'd go for something more reasonable... as long as you're sure it's not worth £35! If you don't think it's worth that, buyers probably won't either.
Are you sure it's not collectable? My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
One tip is to see who has listed it at that price. If it is one of the big US megalisters then ignore it, one book I listed today is a fairly easy to find book, in stock at Amazon at £7.99 where one of the megalisters has it at £34.99. I just joined the ranks of sellers with it at between 75p-£4.

Thanks..........just looked at the other lister and they have - Rating:97% positive over the past 12 months (447 ratings.) 1349 lifetime ratings. - so I will match them for a couple of weeks and then possible drop to a more realistic price in time for the Christmas rush.0 -
i had a book that didnt look much and had £1.25 written in pencil on the inside cover (the rrp was only £4.99) there were 3 other sellers, at £35, £75 and £95. I stuck it on at £32 and after 2 weeks it sold !! Yay
Always worth a go IMHO
