Lloyds TSB question - ref: Silver Account

Guys,
Just a question... I know LTSB had a big problem with me having anything other than a Classic or Silver account due to my CPD99 marker on my account (Anything Gold or higher has a overdraft etc), but for the last few months (since April to be accurate), they've removed the ability to even have the Silver account!
I had it on account opening, and took it off a year ago, but looked on online banking a while back and it's not offering it anymore.
I called them a few days ago and stated that since April they've removed the option from my account and because of that I'd moved my £2k+ out of the account and am now with Santander Premium (which is great, don't get me wrong, but £20 a month is a fair whack), and if I was to move my £2k+ back to LTSB would they let me have Silver again, and the answer was..... No.
That was it. No. Not in a million years. I asked why, and they said it was down to scoring, and I asked how, seeing as Silver has no credit facilities. He couldn't answer that.
So, LTSB stays as an account which gets 1p bounced between it every month or so, so they have to send a statement out and keep the account open...
Anyone else had their Silver eligibility removed?

I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂

In your previous posts, you hate them - now you want them back ???
To be honest, you got CPD - they don't want you mate! They won't ever tell you the reason for your CPD! If you can't even get Silver which 18 yr olds can get, they don't think much of you.
Take your business elsewhere as you have done and leave it there. The relationship between you and them have clearly crumbled.0 -

Any Lloyds TSB current account can have credit facilities (subject to status). I have a Classic Account with arranged overdraft, upgraded to Silver, then back to the Classic. I think you're confusing the inclusion of an interest free limit (which isn't guaranteed) as part of the AVA package with an arranged overdraft which charges debit interest.
Also, I thought as soon as you get a Classic Account an upgrade to at least the Silver AVA is possible without additional checks - internal or external.Anyone else had their Silver eligibility removed?
No. When clicking "Upgrade" on the "Your accounts" screen I'm taken to a page which summarise the Silver AVA. If I scroll to the bottom of this page there another link - "Compare with other accounts" - which takes me to the other AVA's and Vantage.Anything I post is my opinion, so from time to time I may be wrong. I try to provide answers based in fact, however I don't know everything, so (like all posters on MSE), take what I say with a pinch of salt.0 -

Errr no. Was merely wondering why they've removed eligibility for silver. Seems incredibly odd. As it stands I'm staying with Santander anyway, but was looking for a way to reduce monthly AVA fees.I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Errr yes...
