Egg Card success and offer - should I accept?

Hi all

I sent in my Egg Card paperwork last Friday and I have received an offer today of £802.06 PPI full refund and 8% interest, giving a total of £1113.16.

I am over the moon - but can someone tell me if this is the right sort of amount? I have had the card for 6 years and paid PPI on approx £3500 balance until 3 years ago.

I can't work out how to see if this is the right sort of amount - can anyone advise?

I have also sent the paperwork in for my loan and other Egg card, so I am hoping to get similar offers from them. If they have made a goodwill offer on this one while denying wrong doing, do you think they will then be almost obliged to do the same with the others?

thanks for any advice

    Well done on your success.
I'm sure someone will work this out for you and will post up soon, although they may require more details to work this out for you.;)

Sounds about right to me, based on 79p per £100 , £3500 would give you payments of £27.65 a month, for 3 years = £995.40

taking into consideration the balance didnt start off at £3500 and took a while to build up to that it sounds about right.

saying that I have had a glass of wine so it could be wrong..

Many thanks - it reduces the balance by 30%, so this is all good to me. Thanks for your help x
