Outlook Express Saving Folders

I am wanting to take a back up on to my desktop of all my Outlook Express folders and content. This is for later burning to CD to kep whilst I reformat. How do I do this. I have tried Importing, Exporting etc, but cannot seem to get what I want, or find it again !!
Thanks folks. Any help welcomed. Please keep it simple.

Backup your entire Store Folder. Search for .dbx files to find it (they are hidden files), or in OE something like Tools - Options - Maintenance tab - Store Folder.

Here's a reliable method for restoring OE files once you've done your reformat

Open OE & create folders with the same names as each of your archived folders
Open each one by double clicking on it.
Close OE & do a search for the .dbx files
Copy the archived folders into the folder with the .dbx files replacing the originals
Open OE & your e-mails will be there

You may find that you have to copy the archived folders to your hard drive first & alter their properties to remove the "read only" flag

Don't forget BTW to export your address book (file, export, address book) & your e-mail settings (tools, accounts, export) before reformatting

Look at Outlook Express Quick Backup. Free, and only requires a small amount of working out what to do!
