Business Credit Card

Hi,

We are a business setting up a branch in The UK right now.

We have registered as a Ltd company and got a bank account ready. We are looking for somebody that can supply a credit card with the terms and conditions we are looking for at the moment. The problem we have is that we a lot of issuers seem to require that we have been in business for more than 12 months in The UK and also we prefer to get billed, so that we can check all charges etc, rather than direct debit. Do you have any recommendations for who we can/should go to?

The only company I have had offer a business credit card at the off for a new company was HSBC but then again we had been trading for over a year with Santander at that point.

I think you will struggle to find ANY credit card company that will offer credit to a non proven entity. Remembering that a company in the UK can go bust in a day and leave no one liable.

You may be able to get one if you personally guarantee it but then it would be just the same as using your own.
