Hi all,
Im a new user and found this forum whilst researching my 'parking charge notice', issued by CP Plus. I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has offered advice and help on these pages. I would be sitting here £50 out of pocket otherwise! or could I be the unlucky one and be the first to go to court?? lol
Just out of interest, how many letters can I expect to recieve from CP Plus Limited? and has anyone else been directed to pcnphoto.com to view the photographic evidence?
Many thanks,
The proud new owner of a parking charge notice invoice

Hi joe_h,
Welcome to MSE :hello:
I've moved your post out of the "What To Expect" thread as that's only for discussion of and addition to the letterchains in the first post.
Not sure how many letters you'll receive but going by the experiences of other PPC it won't be many before they give up and realise they can't scare you into paying by mentioning court/bailiffs/credit record entries (there's no credit so they can't touch your credit record!) and using "scales of justice" logos, etc.
(I've also sent you a PM)0 -
Hi Crabman,
Sorry I didnt reply I have been away for the weekend! I'll try and sort out getting the document scanned and uploaded in the correct manner. Hopefully tomorrow!

CP Plus LOL LOL LOL I've just recieved a letter from CP Plus stating that i owe them £80 for a "parking" offence at a MOTO services between the hours of 23:34 and 13:46 on 06/09/2010. Reading the laughable and "poor" quality letter they had sent me they are trying to tell me that i was parked for FOURTEEN HOURS and 12 minutes. PMSL! Now i do travel through these services on a regular basis as my best friend lives a stones throw away and there is a short cut through the services to get to their house which is my ONLY reason to ever visit these services as i only live 5 minutes away myself. (I'm pretty sure i can hold it for longer then that!!!!) On this letter it states that they have photographic evidence of my 14 hour stay and that i could view these on-line. It would of been silly of me if i didn't so i went on-line and viewed them. Their so called photographic evidence is 2 pictures (I was hoping for at least 14 pictures!!) of my car "Travelling" YES TRAVELLING down the side road towards this short cut stated clearly by the fact my headlights were on and the arrows stating which direction to drive and not a single parking bay insight and another picture of me leaving the services. I've contacted my friend who says they had received the exact same thing few months before and after phoning them the fine was quashed!!! (I wonder why?!!!) I have not called CP Plus myself as i thought i should do a little homework first which is how i found out about this website and what has been said about this so called CP Plus. so i now intend to fully stick 2 fingers up at them and totally ignore this letter and any other letters they send me. I advise everyone else to do the same. I can't stop laughing!!!0

Hi there NiceTry
I'll try and keep this thread updated with future letters that I've learnt to expect from such companies. Mine too was from a MOTO station and the pictures just show a fairly poor picture of my car travelling on a road (could be anywhere!).... twice lol
The initial letter I have received is now in the 'what to expect thread'0 -
Just to ask to what I presume that Nicetry has done and apologies if he hasn't, i.e. left the services via a "back door" road rather than back on to the motorway. These usually have no entry signs on them on the land of the service station so I was wondering how "legal" these signs are as I have used them on the odd occasion.0

I doubt very much they are legal but if you have an accident when going the wrong way then it would be held against you as (I presume) DDA.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
