Thanks Annibee. Actually you just said something that kind of hit a nerve, or rang a bell or something, because I remember him saying to me a while ago (probably a year or two now) asking me if I wanted him to take a look at my finances and to advise on better rates of interest on my accounts etc - he was also offering to look at my various service providers etc to see if I could get better deals by switching. I said no as I was embarrassed to let him know my position but now I think of it I wonder whether he has got an inkling anyway and was trying to offer help without actually offering free money (which he knows I would never take?) That would also explain why he offered the personal loan as he knew I was paying nearly 9% interest...

Hmmmm. Interesting. Perhaps it wouldnt be that much of a shock (all the level would be!).

Yeah he probably knows but if hes a money minded guy he probably will also understnd your hesitency(Who knows if thats even a word lol) in telling him. It will be hard but probably make you feel so much better afterwards.

    Hope it goes well

He might even be able to shed more light on it and rather than just freak out at the amount as no doubt you do he migt just see the interest and how to start by sorting that out. x
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.
