Medal of Honour

Use this thread if you want to talk about Medal of Honour in general.

I have a specific question, however.

I've seen the games advertised on ebay. What is the difference between the Limited Edition version and the Tier 1 Edition? (PS3 by the way)

Before anybody mentions... yes I am aware that COD Black Ops is coming out soon. I'm already hogging out COD MW2 and I'm looking forward to getting my hands on Black ops but I don't think I'll buying it this side of Xmas. May wait untill the new year when prices have dropped a little. The gameplay trailers for MoH look decent though so Ill play for the time being if I can get cheap enough.

After the announcement of the Limited Edition, EA Los Angeles stated that they would release a special Tier 1 Edition in Europe. The Tier 1 edition will cost the same as the Limited Edition and feature the same benefits as the Limited Edition (including the Battlefield 3 Beta Key). Additionally, owners of the Tier 1 Edition will receive a code to have access to the Class Operational Tier 1, "a select group of soldiers in order to unlock the M60 Light Machine Gun that Rambo fans will remember." The Tier 1 Edition will be released in Europe, October 15, for all three platforms.

you should have hopped into the open beta last week, wouldn't have needed to rely on trailers then :)

I have got the game and TBH it is a little bit ropey, it has been too rushed and too fast paced at times. Having said that I am enjoying playing it and so far it is easy, choice of guns isn't great either.
Can't see it lasting very long as there are only 8 Maps so probably best to buy it later on and get a used one. I do not play online so can't comment on that.

  • The Single Player campaign didn't take very long to finish at all, probably in total less than 4 hours. It was alright, but the characters lack any depth, most of the scenery looks the same, not much development and I'm not a fan of the online aspect at all.
