Windows back up

Got a new laptop and it says window back up is not set up. Do I need to enable this as I do not want my hard drive to fill up quickly? I also have samsung recovery solution which backs up the files as well. Thanks

I would have thought that you need an external drive to back up to. There is little point in backing up to another part of the built in hard drive.

Back up does not free up any disk space.
I would imagine that the manufacturers 'solution' returns the computer to its factory default state, which would not include any of your files ( might be wrong of course).
That gum you like is coming back in style.
