Exciting news from EDF
Got a letter today from them today telling me that they are bringing me some exciting new changes soon but not what they are. They have had to bring my DD's forward to the first of the month because of it but I can specify a different date if I wish. (then why bother?) Still no mention of the loss of Nectar points at the end of the year but the cynic in me suspects this is a bit of spin that will say something about benefits but however your Nectar points are going. Wonder if it's the same as the Nationwide Flexaccount improvements! (that weren't for most people).

I agree. I you are happy with that date then why bother changing. I don't think you will see the Nectar Points though.0

My DD's to them go out in the first week of each month at the moment so moving them to the 1st doesn't make any difference as my pension is paid on the 8th. However , if people currently have their DD towards the end of the month then it could make a difference. I presume this will help EDF cashflow and maybe interest as well. On the Nectar points I wonder if the first bills for 2011 will include a proportion of the points up to the end of the year , I personally don't think so. Having reached 50 last year my cynicism seems to have increased for which I apologize.0
