Taking something you bought at one store to a different store in order to receive a £45 refund which you never paid is, quite simply, theft no matter how you dress it. You wouldn't pick up something worth £45 from Argos and simply walk out with it on the basis that you bought something cheaper elsewhere and felt entitled to it would you?
If Argos mispriced something by £45 then that would be their hardship but you are deceiving Argos if you try the refund con.
That's theft alright.0 -
