Tax Credits/Benefits Help?!

Hi there

My Partner and I currently earn £15000 a year after tax, and get CB - we are waiting to hear back from HMRC for our Tax Credits decision, does anyone have any idea how much this would be?

We have a child who attends nursery full time at the cost of £120 a week and our rent in £625 a month!

Any help is appreciated!

Hi , if you go to the Hmrc tax credits website there is a function there called "do i qualify".

Enter in all you're details and at the end it will tell you if you qualify and if you do it will tell you exactly how much you are entitled to , this figure will be you're entitlement for the remainder of this tax year (i.e from now until April 5th)

Now , when you get this figure that it states you are entitled to , what you need to do is divide that amount by 24 as there are roughly 24 weeks remaining in this tax year .

This will give you a good idea of how much you will be entitled to on a weekly basis
