BT Internet with router

Hi
I will be helping a friend get rid of his modem and set up his broadband with a modem router (i've recommeneded he gets the Netgear DG834G).
I'm happy with the router itself but I thought I'd ask if anyone knows of any issues with his ISP.
I hope I'm not going to encounter difficulties but with the wealth of experience on here, I thought I'd ask before I get started rather than wait until I break his broadband connection.

Should be ok, I've setup that router on BT broadband before, just make sure that your adsl settings are set to vc based vpi=0 vci=38, otherwise your broadband password may appear not to authenticate properly.Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0
