hi,
i came accross a few sites yesterday..did you see http://www.lasvegas.roomsnet.com/ .seem to be quite cheap and simple. They seem to be based in London.and are saying they are gonna change.
but wynn looks tempting :j0 -
yes whoever recommend the circus circus buffet has not been the other buffets that blow it out of the water.
my fav was the Coastal buffet at Mandalay bay cause the food was great and in lovely surroundings. MGM, Mirage and Rio were also good. was not so taken with Treasure islands though. Exaclliber is suppose to be THE WORST and Belligio the most extravegent ( ran out of days to try it )
as for steak where do you start ??????? Binions downtown has a great steakhouse ( when you eventually find it) on the top floor that has a fantastic view of the strip . expensive but very good. Blackstones in Monte Carlo was AWESOME food wise but a bit to upmarket for my taste ( french waiters are still french waiters even in Vegas:rotfl: :rotfl: ). Gallalaghers in New York New York is really nice. that said you could eat in a differnet out of this world steak house everyday for a month.
if you want lively and reasonably priced good food and live music Margetaville is well worth checking out ( great gift shop as well). near Flamingo , you cannot miss it from the stripBetter in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0 -

I had a look at a few prices on that site and it looked expensive to me.
The best prices are usually available by going direct to the hotel, online or on phone using the 1p per minute prefix.
The advantage of this is that the room can be cancelled or amended to a cheaper price up to 24 hours before travel.
If you keep an eye out for deals posted on lasvegastalk.com or fatwallet, you will often find very cheap rooms, the aladdin is available via a deal on there for $59 a night when their rack rate is $179 a night ( yes I know there is building work ) I have stayed there during the works with no hassles and at $59 a night0 -
We just came back 2 weeks ago and stayed at Caesars Palace and loved it! If you sign up for the email promotions you can get great rates and upgrades - I wouldnt hesitate to go back. We also stayed at the Tropicana (Palace Tower Room) and this was fine for the money but no comparison to Caesars.0
