Hello good people.
Reason that I'm asking you for help is that 2 weeks ago I claimed first time for Job Seekers Allowance Contribution-Based and I got positive decision, so I am eligible, but ...
during first interview I was asked what qualifications and skills I had, what was my experience and what kind of job I can do.
I answered that I am IT Computer Technician, but I have finished school in Lithuania 6 years ago and after in 2005 I came to UK.
As I didnt know english language very well and I had to support myself so I did any odd/temporary jobs what I got, such as cleaner/warehouse/packing; but I have proper skills to work in my profession and my language skill is improving. Of course I told that to my interviewer and that I would like to learn more and more to get english certificates. Interviewer convinced me that I need to do job that experience I have, so on JSA File he gave me instructions what I need to do to be eligible to get JSA. In field "the types of job i am looking for" interviewer wrote "packer, cleaner, warehouse assistant" with special numbers for every occupation, called SOC, as it identifies jobs in his system.
But I found leaflet with free training course and
I signed up for ITQ training Level 2 and I have nearly finished that with positive mark.
Every two weeks I have to attend Job Centre Plus to show evidence of looking for a job; every time I come there with evidence like registration in agencies I am pushed to start any job, even though I told that I am during ITQ training, and I feel ready to start work in office job like data entry so my question is, what can I do to be able to look for work in type what I feel good what is "IT-Information Technology" or sth like that but not what was written "packer, cleaner, warehouse assistant".
How could I change it ? I worry because I feel underrated and I recognize that I cant get independent help in Job Centre. Could you advise me what to do ? or where I could get help ?
Thank you in advance.

You need to dispute your Jobseeker's Agreement (Jsag). Tell your adviser you disagree with it and produce one of your own. The adviser will send both to a decision maker who will then decide exactly what your Jsag will have on it.0

I imagine that the barrier you will face for a more senior position is your English skills. Are there any courses that you could attend to work on this?Gone ... or have I?0

Thank you very much guys for response.
dookar, dmg24 :
You are right this Jobseeker's Agreement is essential so it should be changed.
Problem is that currently I'm gonna have only one english certificate to support myself in IT so decision could be unfavourable. .I am on the good way to have more and more but if I get back to any work... as cleaner etc. then I will lose possibility to get free training, I will be busy all week (as required by Jsag full time job) and I will soak into that, so I will not be able to join any helpful trainings offered by Job Centre like Learn Direct/Critical Skills because this is only for JSA claimants.
Catch 22 situation
.
dookar maybe you know procedure Jsag ? Is it compulsory to accept any offer of job I would get ?
You know that Job Centre could call recruitment agency if i refused any job or not and then stop my JSA.
It is risk because I have put "First Personnel" agency as proof of looking for a job and they wanted to put me in the way of job but I told them that I cant because of training, so they asked for letting them now ASAP when i finish that, because they have offer of jobs available now.
dmg24 , language skills is the biggest problem but im gonna change it if i could. Look below
.
My current initiatives:
Today I asked my tutor for ITQ Level 3 training, and basic Level 1 (to get as much as possible) and he told me that He will lead it because there are few people who wanna gain it.
I also booked for training to get certificate for adult numeracy and literacy and it is gonna start in two weeks if job centre don't stop my JSA.
Guys maybe you know or anybody who read it. Are there any benefits to support into improving skills/training without all hassle with JSA ?
Could CAB help me in my case or it is pointless ?
Regards.
