Letter recieved Saturday

Just an update for you, I had a letter from the bank to say they would give me £700 for full and final settlement on the bank chages I brought up. Although it is actually the grand total of £2000 in the last 6 years! Now im in a quandry, do i take the £700 or go for the full amount?

What do you all think?

    DON'T ACCEPT IT!!!

    get all your money back

by them offering anything proves they have done wrong in the first place!

It took 2 1/2 months from my bank's piddly offer of £450 up to the day before court and they paid my full £1600

WELL WORTH IT - don't you think?

It's up to you - but nobody has failed to get their money back, it may take a while, but I'm chuffed with my result. I would have been gutted if i'd settled for their first offer.

Best of luck - I hope you hold out for the full amount

    hi carli

Absolutely don't take the £700.00 - check out the following for accounts avoid one that's linked to the halifax or bank oof Scotland.. Nationwide have done me wonders you'll get the money ! don't take the soft option that's what they are hoping for ..I'll try and find my list and post it here later..

Right then, ive decided to try and get an account with Natwest. I finish early on Friday afternoons, so will go in armed with my ID and bills etc! Im going to go for the whole amount from the Halifax, If everyone else has been able to do it I dont see why i cant! So what i need know is what do next????

Do I need to send them another letter telling them I am not excepting the offer? Has anyone got a letter template to send off?

Absolutely not - have a look at similar threads - if you go for it you are most likely going to get all of YOUR money back - why accept 35% - the Bank wouldn't if it were the other way round.
