DVD writer for E machine ??

I need to replace my DVD ROM with DVD writer.

My PC is Emachine 420.

Can i have a match? probably of the same colour.

Are you sure that the drive drawer isn't hidden behind the case, therefore obviating the need to be concerned with colour?

Have you actually told us the colour for which you are looking?

you can pick one up for between £15-20 they are all pretty generic these days.

Only thing worth checking is depending on whether your old one was SATA (L-shaped connectors) or IDE (lots of pins and a wide ribbon cable). SATA is more modern and even if your PC was IDE if you have spare SATA data and power connections SATA is the one to go for, otherwise get another IDE
