When you burn the CD you need to choose 'Audio CD'.
This will convert the file to audio before it burns.
Then it will play on a CD player.

Otherwise you'll just burn the mp3 file to disc as 'Data'.

As said above unless you are going to play a compact disc in a dvd or cd player with mp3 functionality you will have to turn the mp3,'s into normal music cd format which will only hold about 20 songs.
When you say flash movies im assuming you are referiing to shockwave type files personally i have not seen dvd players etc that handle that. You either need to covert it to a file type your player can handle if possable or directly connect your pc to your tv to use the tv as a monitor and play it that way.

windows media player or itunes work very well.

in media player just drag music to the 'burn' tab and then from the menu select 'audio CD'

in itunes make a new playlist of all the songs you want on the CD, then right click on the playlist name and select burn to CD in the box that comes up select 'Audio CD' and click burn.

one thing to note is that not all CD players can play burned CDs I don't know why they just can't

    Are you causing trouble again?

You can use DVD Flick to create DVDs playable in any standard player.

When installing, be sure not to install any Toolbars, such as ASK or Yahoo.
