    Nearly everything apart from a a solid, undamaged piece of pipe can leak.

    But I must admit I wouldn't take a hammer to one. ;)


    Saying all this though has anyone asked the OP if there are not isolators in the pipes leading up from the floor to the taps. :eek:

    if the OP cannot find a main SC, then they must get one fitted ASAP.

    I have a gas combi boiler which heats all the water in the house and the old turn off tap I can find is under the kitchen sink. There is no water tank, just direct from mains. Totally baffled.
